Speaking to the Set Designers

Today we spoke to the set designers about our location, and as to what we could do with it in order to keep our music video interesting. Discussing it, we decided to focus in on the immense advantage that we have with being able to do whatever we want to with the house, and what type of fun, cool things we could be doing.

In particular, the set designers thought it would be cool to play with the idea of surreal images - such as making a whole in a wall and then crawling through it into a new, funky space. They also thought that throwing paint around a room would be very visually interesting, as well as flooding a room; anything to keep audiences interested.

Leading on from this, we came up with a few ideas of our own - such as smashing a lightbulb, rollerskating down a corridor and seeing the girls fall over, roasting marshmallows with lighters, a silly dance battle - anything where the girls are having fun whilst doing something unique, yet interesting.

At the end of the lesson we wrote up our ideas, and agreed to go away and think of even more fun, surreal things we could potentially play with:
