Having been given a bunch of new ideas following Monday's talk with the set designers, we decided to make a timeline pacing out the different elements within our music video and when they'd possibly be included. We wrote the timeline based off of our cut version of the song.
The elements include: a lip-sync, bitchy stares (plus various combinations of the two), girls finding old roller-skates and skating down a long corridor before falling, a couple of girls flooding a bathroom and then splashing each other, a couple of girls throwing paint all over a room, a girl blowing bubbles with her bubblegum, a girl playing with a lighter, and finally three girls smashing up a kitchen.
There will also be various shots of the girls and their indie attire, as well as the house itself before and after having been destroyed. We plan to edit the video to the beat, showing snippets of each activity gradually so as to create the impression that they all 'climax' at the same time, in time with the music.
