Having tried to arrange a test shoot yesterday, but having unfortunately had to cancel it due to a problem with our cast, we really emphasised the importance of today's trip as it was our last opportunity to visit the house and visualise our music video within the actual space. It would allow us to see what would work and what wouldn't work and make decisions accordingly, and seen how it has become unlikely that we will find the time to try another test shoot before the shoot day, our last opportunity to come up with new ways to further develop and improve our idea.
Having expected a roughly two hour car journey to get to the location, we were all pleasantly surprised at it being half the time - just over 60 minutes. This will mean we will have more time to film on Monday.
The house was large and perfect for our needs, with many wide, open spaces. The unique location will give our video a realism and credibility, as well as an organic look which we would not have achieved in a studio. Consequently, we realise the importance of being advantageous with this.
Prime features of the house:
Many of these rooms are very interesting aesthetically with wide, empty spaces - meaning we can use them for lip-syncing purposes or otherwise. Hannah took the photos with her iPhone during our visit.
Additional features of the house:
These rooms/areas of the house are visually interesting and would be good to include within our video.

Extremely pleased with our location, we are going to regroup and go through the rooms one by one, deciding what will go on within each in order to come up with some interesting and exciting visual elements for our music video, as well as to ensure that we are focused and scheduled for the shoot on Monday.
